Contract Individual and Group

Music Therapy

We offer Music Therapy with Grace Gomez, Board-Certified Music Therapist. Music Therapy uses evidence based practice to increase an individual’s emotional, physical, cognitive, communicative, or social abilities. Music is powerful, and when used within the therapeutic setting, by a trained professional, it can unlock an abundance of potential.

Sessions offered in-home, in-facility, and via telehealth. Sessions are typically 60 minutes with 50 minutes allocated to direct-client therapy and 10 minutes allocated to paperwork, contact with caregivers, billing, cleaning equipment, etc.

Empower You is passionate about accessibility. Sessions are available for a private pay rate of $110/hr. Additionally, we are actively working toward accepting medicaid waivers.

Music Lessons

We offer music lessons with Grace Gomez, Board-Certified Music Therapist. Lessons are available to clients who prefer to work specifically on music goals in order to work toward performing or learning a musical skill. Lessons are available for ukulele, guitar, and piano. Please note, this varies significantly from Music Therapy by focusing solely on how to play an instrument.

Music lessons are available through private pay only, at a rate of $110/hr. Medicaid waivers will not cover this service. Empower You is passionate about accessibility.

“I loved going to music therapy with Ms. Grace. We played a lot of my favorite music, including The Eye of the Tiger, music from Thumbelina and Garth Brook’s songs. We sang a lot of songs and worked with my iPad. I had a lot of fun with Ms. Grace and I miss having therapy with her.”
